There is plenty of seating and the restaurant was not very busy. It appeared clean and we were seated right away. The food was tasty, but was not the most authentic Asian food I have had. Overall, was a positive experience but I am not itching to go back.

Yelp gets it right again! Four stars. * * * King Noodle is a twin establishment with Fresh Poke and Bubble Tea sharing the quarters. I have no idea whether the two businesses are owned by the same person or they are just "roommates". The poke looked interesting - but we went with the noodles. Nothing extraordinary but totally respectable. My wife loved her dry noodles with vegetables. I went with a spicy beef noodle soup. Actually I think they have one and only one noodle soup which they modify by changing what ingredients get put in at the last minute There may be a second or third broth pot somewhere. The broth is no great shakes - which is the first thing you taste for at an Asian noodle house. But the solid ingredients were just fine. The noodles themselves are made in house. They are perfectly lovely. The beef cubes were not at all fatty and not at all gristly. Someone spent significant money to put in top quality meat ... Which is something you don't always see in noodle shops. The vegetables were interesting and nicely al dente. Special thumbs up on the mushrooms. One nuisance factor. Both carrots and meat are in such big chunks, They are hard to get in your mouth. Tender enough to chew with no effort, But I was chewing pieces of meat bigger than a backgammon doubling cube. * * * In great Asian food locations, like the Queens Chinatown in Flushing or in Vancouver in general, King Noodle Asian restaurant would never make it. But it would do well in South Austin. It totally rocks in Temple. I was happy to eat there.

We got the stir fry ramen noodles - we said no spice and they came with spice and was too hot. Tasted good to me by my wife could not handle the spice. Our friends said theirs was very good but it was delivered at least ten minutes before ours was. So we were out of sync.

They make their noodles in-house! Yall! I am not a Ramen fan so I got habichi... I regretted my choice when my husband got his Ramen! It was delicious!! The braised meat was superb and cooked to perfection! They got us seated and order taken in no time! The Ramen did take a bit longer than mine but IT IS MADE FROM SCRATCH!! I will be coming back very soon!

This eatery is located in a shopping strip. There are two eatery at this location. I'm rating the one eatery mentioned above. Parking is ample, but a little tight as there are other business nearby. Facility is clean. Well decorated. The Good: The food was pretty good. We ordered just fried rice with wings as appetizer. Every was hot. Veggies appeared and tasted fresh. I'm going to take a star, because the meats inside the rice appeared to be slighly fried. Nonetheless it was good. The Bad: Very Noisy, not their fault. Service a little slow as there are only 2 waitressesing The Ugly: None

After watching too many food network type shows showcasing Asian food, finally got off the couch to try this place out. Wish we hadn't waited so long - lots of choices, fresh ingredients, and on the spot service. Everything we had (see pics) was very tasty, and very filling. Had to get a to go box, had plenty left for a meal the next day. Added bonus, you can see them making the noodles by hand up by the cash register - no out of the box pre mades!
